It's been very long time since I last time dated this site. I'm not going to put in all the show results, just the most important things; Kelmi became champion! Congratulations Anne! So did Rocksie. Congratulations Taija! 30.5. Diva got her first group placement; BIS-4 VET!!! Diva has been doing great in VET-classes.

Big news for Dirtdigger's kennel; my good friend and puppy buyer Miia Rajala will join me and breed Dirtdigger's dogs in the future with me. She will take over when I cannot anymore. Her homepage is here; http://www.valmakoira.com/ Please read Valmas blog (sorry, only in finnish), it's hilarious! Valma just got her first litter with Halle. Not really a planned mating, but Miia got 4 beautiful boys there. The litter will be BAER-tested (as all Dirtdigger's litters in future). There is still 1-2 boys without a home. If you are interested, contact me or Miia.

We got some new dogs; "Hurri" Raaw Head Hunter came to Finland and will live together with Hippu and her family in Valkeala. "Laikku" Raaw In Charge is living with his new family in Rauma. "Sulo" Brösing´s Australian White Sugar is also living in Helsinki in Finland with his family. Thanks Linda & Dennis and Ingrid for these wonderful boys! There will be more about these boys soon at "Other dogs".

Some sad news; Halle is BAER-tested and his left ear is deaf. Very big loss for us as he is looking great and has a wonderful character.

Welcome to Finland our new boy "Halle" Raaw Hall Of Fame! Kennel Dirtdigger's bought a male puppy from kennel Raaw in Sweden together with kennel Let's Rock and Miia Rajala. Halle will be living with family Rajala in Rauma as a littlebrother to "Valma". Thank you Linda and Dennis (kennel Raaw) for this great little boy!

Papu is 1 year now. She will celebrate her first birthday with friends Rasmus and Peppi, eating a sausage cake.

14.9.2008 Puppy Show, Riihimäki
Valma was BOB (Best Of Breed) and even placed fourth in the terrier group! Lauri was second in his class. Dirtdigger's breeders group was BOB-breeders group! All This N That -puppies and their owners were there and we had a nice (but VERY cold) day!

10.9.2008 Rocksies puppies are born!

17.5.2008 Tampere Puppy Show
Beibi (or "Papu" as I nowadays call her) was in her first show and got a honours price and was second best bitch. She behaved well and liked it alot too. The judge didn't think her expression was typical... Well...hmmmmm... Visit her own page and see the new photos.

Dirtdigger's This N That -litter was born; Hani and Rasmus got 2 handsome boys and 3 beautiful girls. They will grow up in Piikkiö. Webcam is helping the breeder to keep up with the puppies.

Hani was in ultra sound and she has 4 to 5, maybe even 6 puppies. They will be born in the end of March.

5.12.2007 Beibi is born!
Diva and Aatos got a beautiful daughter with classical markings. She will stay at home and be known as Dirtdigger's Megababe. Meet Beibi here.

Diva is now mated with Aatos and we are hoping for puppies in the beginning of December. Her ultra sound check up will be on 7th of November.

Tampere 8.9.2007
Necku did it again; she was BOB in a show of 60 jackrussells. Our success continued as our Rocksie (Neckus daughter) became third best bitch and won the juniorclass of 15 bitches. Her littersister Cucu was BOB in another show same day and became BIS-Junior there! Congratulations to Karo, Neckus owner and breeder of the two beautiful juniors!

26.8.2007 Terrier Club Special Show "Terri-Eri 2007"
What a day for Dirtdigger's! Necku was again BOB and beat 70 dogs, including her own mother. Diva was Best Bitch 3. (Excellent) and Elvis was Best Male 4. (Excellent). Rocksie was second in juniorclass with Excellent, Dooris was fourth in championclass with an Excellent, also Iida got an Excellent. Divas offsprings group became BIS-2, Dirtdigger's breeders group became BIS-4. It was a group of four champions! GREAT SUCCESS! I'm more than happy and it was a wonderful ending for a very hard and sad week too.

12.8.2007 Joensuu Int
Diivas son Kelmi was BOB today at Joensuu International! It was his third CAC (sert), but as two of them are from the same judge he still needs one more to become champion. We know he will get it soon enough! My warmest congratulations to the owners of this handsome guy!

4.8.2007 Turku
Our latest superhero Elvis became Finnish Champion today, only just about one week after his second birthday. He also received the title of Estonian Champion at the same time! Congratulations to the owners! Divas daughter Doris was placed fourth in Best Bitch class. Divas great celebration was not over; she is grandmother to Cucu ( by Necku) who was BOB and won the terrier group! I want to send my best to all these great dogs owners! What a day!

21.7.2007 Tampere, Club Special
Elvis was this weekends Dirtdigger's star and not in any kind of humble way; he beat 100 dogs in our Club Special show and became Best In Show! The judge was almost poetic telling what she thought about him; Everything in this dog is the way it should; type and proportions, expression, character and movements. And he has great radiance in the ring! Also Camilla got her praise; he is very well shown!

Other Dirtdigger's dogs did well too; Necku and her daughter were both placed in the Best Bitch class. Diva was second with Excellent in Champion Class, loosing to Necku. Jack's Paradise breeders group was second with Diva in it. Rocksie placed fourth in her class with Excellent.

8.7.2007 Juva International
Necku had great success today at an international show; she became BOB and was placed second in the terrier group! This was truly great, as it's really hard to be placed in group in such a big show and finnish terriers are known to be of great quality! I'm extremely proud of her! Congratulations again to Karoliina and Aki who had also BOS, second- and third best bitches!

Nessis puppies are born; 3 bitches, 2 males. Unfortunately one of the girls didn't make it, so now we have two girls and two boys. They all look great and grow well. We have new homes for all of them allready. See the litter here

Our youngster 'Rocksie' (Let's Rock Again And Again) was today at her first offical show and she became right the first time BOB and beat her own mother Necku and father Pilkku! She also got her first CAC (sert). Congratulations to Rocksie's breeder Karoliina for her great success today, as Pilkku was BOS and Necku was second best bitch. Rocksie's co-owner Taija and I are very pleased with what we have in her and we want to thank Karoliina for everything!

Tallinn, Estonian Winner -07 3.6.2007
Elvis was on his first trip outside of Finland. We went to Estonia and he was Best of Breed and got a title of Estonian Winner 2007. He also got a sert (cac), so when he get's his Finnish Champion title, he will also become Estonian Champion. It was a nice trip in good company with sunshine and everything working well.

Necku (Dirtdigger's Cruella DeVil) did it again; she was BOB in Vaasa and even among the 6 best in the terrier group! Congratulations to the owners! Just like a couple of times before; same owners male Pilkku (our Rocksie's daddy) became BOS. Amazing!

Great success to Dirtdigger's again today! Diivas and Lukas son Dirtdigger's Love Me Tender "Elvis" was BOB today at Tampere International. He also got a CACIB. Thank's to his owners for this great day, it truly warms my heart at these hard times (that don't feel hard at all right now).

Divas and Huckes litter had a successfull day; Necku was BOB and placed second in terrier group! It was allready fourth Dirtdigger's dog that was placed in terrier group in Finland! They all are by Diva. Kelmi from this same litter got his second cac (sert) and was second best male. Rocksies littersister Cucu was BOB-puppy.

I also learned that Diva became Best Breedingbitch of 2006 at our JRT club. I'm very proud of her! I had to change her breeding plans for personal reasons; she will have her last litter in the end of 2007.

25.2.2007 Helsinki Puppy Show
Let's Rock Again and Again "Rocksie" started her show carreer in a great way; she won her own class of 15 puppies and became second best bitch. Both her siblings were also placed in the class; what a nice litter! A week later their brother Rundi was BIS-puppy in an International show in Holland!

Dirtdigger's Tasmanian Devil "Kelmi" was BOB in Ähtäri show! He didn't much like show business as younger but now that he is mature he showed his claws and made us all very happy and proud!

A great success for Dirtdigger's kennel at Helsinki Winner Show today! Divas daughter Necku (Dirtdigger's Cruella DeVil) was Best of Breed and got the title of Winner -06. Elvis (Dirtdigger's Love Me Tender) became Junior Winner -06 and was third best male. Even old Diva herself was placed second in the Best Bitch class right after her own daughter. My biggest thank's for both dogs owners; such success can only come as a result of proper training and good keeping of a dog.
